Father Greg Boyle will speak about his book Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion, One City, One Story 2021 selection. It  is a collection of anecdotes of Father Boyle's work which are compassionate, inspirational, thought-provoking, funny, tragic and unforgettable. Father Boyle’s main message to readers is that these former gang members, outliers of society, need love and to know that they have personal worth and value.

Program: Library Director Michelle Perera will welcome and introduce Father Greg Boyle. Father Greg will talk about his book and the work at Homeboy Industries followed by Q&A led by Michelle Perera.
